Modem
Modem is a Hardware Device that helps to connect a Computer on the Internet through a Cable or Telephone or Wireless Method to do a bi-directional data communication. Modem is receives Analog or Radio Signal from ISP Server Computer and then convert into Digital Signal to access the data on the Personal Computer. Modem is receives Digital Signal from Personal Computer and then convert into Analog or Radio Signal to transmit data on the Internet through ISP Server Computer.
Cable Modem
Cable Modem is implemented with Cable Television Technology that helps to do bi-directional data communication through Radio Frequency on the Internet. Cable Modem can connect with Computer through Ethernet Card, Coaxial Cable and BNC Connector Hardware Devices. Cable Modem is a traditional method to do high speed data transmission service on the Internet.
Cable Television Technology is a one direction data transmission technique and Cable Modem is a bi-direction data transmission service that is complex to do data modulation on the Internet. Cable Modem can connect with a Set Top Box that helps to connect a Television and Computer to distribute the Radio Frequency to watch Television and access Internet.
DSL Modem
Digital Subscriber Line Modem is implemented with Telephone Technology that helps to do bi-directional data communication through Analog Signal on the Internet. DSL Modem can connect between Computer into Telephone by using Shielded Twisted Pair Cable and RJ45 Connector Hardware Devices. DSL Modem is does three main functionality that Voice and Data Separation, Channel Separation and Encoding and Decoding Data. DSL Modem is uses different approach to encode and decode data on the Telephone Media.
DSL Modem data transmission speed is based on the DSL Modem Configuration, Volume of Data Transmission, and Distance between Computer into IPS Service Central Server, Digital Subscriber Line Service and Telephone Line Condition. Telephone Technology is bi-direction data transmission technique that helps to DSL Modem to do simplex data modulation on the Internet. xDSL, HDSL, SDSL, ADSL, RADSL and VDSL Technologies are invented from DSL Technology to improve the data transmission speed on the Internet.
Wireless Modem
Wireless Modem is implemented with Wireless Technology that helps to do bi-directional data communication through Radio Frequency on the Internet. Wireless Technology is uses radio frequencies, microwave, and infrared waves are called electromagnetic waves. Wireless Access Point is an Electronic Device that transmits electromagnetic waves on AIR that helps to connect Internet Service Provider Server Computer with Local Area Network, Personal Area Network, Mobile Computer, Mobile Phone and Mobile Electronic Devices through Satellite.
