Web Application
An Application is a Set of Program to validate and manage Business Information in the Data File or Database. Program is a Set of Statements to Validate Input Data with Business Process Information to ADD / EDIT / DELETE Business Information in the Data File or Database and then VIEW Business Information from the Data File or Database. Web Application is a Client Server Architecture and runs over the TCP/IP Protocol. Web Application can develop based on web browser or client server approach.
Browser based web application can develop with programming language to create static and dynamic web pages that hosted on Web Server on the Internet. Static webpage can not modify by Application User that helps to display product, service and instruction that store in the Web Server. Dynamic webpage can modify by Application User that helps to display and update business information in the Database that store in the Application Server.
Client Server based web application can develop with programming language to create GUI screen that hosted on Web Server on the Internet. GUI screen is helps to display and update business information in the Database that store in the Application Server. Client Server based web application is runs like TCP/IP protocol. Web Application client component can install or download each session when interact the Client Computer with Web Server.
Web Browser Application
Web Browser is an Application Program that helps to display web page on the Computer and helps to interact with World Wide Web. Web Browser is uses HTTP to send request and receive a web page from Web Server. Web Browser is uses FTP to upload and download web page from Web Server. The most popular web browser applications are Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
